Working to the highest standards
2SB Advisors only work to the standards required by the leading UKAS accredited certification bodies which is the only grade of certification that meets the requirements of Government departments and larger private sector organisations.
Driving Continuous improvement and saving time and effort
The world wide success of ISO 14001 is that it is a practical management system which has been developed to help organisations focus on both implementing and then continually working to reduce their environmental impact.
ISO 14001 has adapted many of the features of ISO 9000, the Quality Management Standard, and 2SB’s Advisors have established considerable experience in creating a combined environmental and quality management system, saving both time and effort.
The ships of yester-year were built for purpose, they utilised available technology at that time, similarly, we need todays' latest technology to meet the growing demands on business today.
Typical Implementation timetable
The typical implementation of a fully certified system normally takes in the region of 8 to 10 months depending on the size and complexity of the organisation and comprises of the 2SB Advisor visiting once every 3 to 4 weeks to provide instruction and training in the workings of an effective environmental management and/or quality management system.
After about 7 months, there is the stage one independent audit from your selected UKAS accredited assessment body to check that the system has been effectively implemented and to highlight areas that might need further development. We will then continue to work with you to ensure that these development points are cleared prior to the stage two audit at which the assessor needs to see a fully functioning environmental management and/ or quality management system, after which you will be awarded your certificate which is valid for three years.
Our guarantee and ongoing support
Our guarantee is that we will continue to work with you until you achieve certification.
On completion of the certification process organisations have the choice of taking over the full management of the system or continuing to have on going support to meet the requirements of future annual assessments.
