Chris Passmore - Principal Management Systems Consultant and Director

Chris has always had a methodical system based mind and enjoys the interaction with clients across different industries getting to really know them and their businesses. After gaining experience as a manager of AlphaGraphics, a Central London “Quick Printer”, Chris joined Patersons and moved in to the role of Human Resources and Quality Director, managing both the demands of rapid expansion and then managed contraction. In 2006 Chris decided to set up 2SB Management Systems to apply his knowledge, experience and training and has been enthusiastically helping organisations ever since. Chris has supported over 80 businesses with the implementation of UKAS accredited 9001, 14001 and 18001 Management Systems as well as growing 2SB.
Previous education: Chris studied Systems and Management at City University before joining the Royal Navy. He both enforced the Common Fisheries Policy around the coasts of the UK and was a warship navigating officer.
Relevant training/ professional memberships: Chris is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), an Associate member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and has a level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Fun facts: Chris is an experienced yachtsman and after sharing a 34ft yacht with his father for 15 years now shares a slightly smaller yacht with his daughter on the Medway. His favourite topic of conversation is his memories of the Navy and his specialist subject is Admiral Nelson – engage in these topics at your own risks!
Lucy Trimmer – ISO Management Systems Consultant

With an environmental background, Lucy wanted to apply this within a business setting. ISO 14001 gave this opportunity to align an organisations environmental considerations with their strategic direction.
Previous education: Lucy gained a First-Class Environmental Geography BSc degree. Upon leaving university Lucy began work in the charitable sector. With previous sales experience, her first role involved working in Corporate Fundraising and Events before she moved charity to gain experience in Market Research and Development. Prior to joining 2SB, Lucy gained a qualification in Understanding Sustainable Refurbishment and became qualified as an Energy Surveyor. Lucy has now almost completed the market leading Legislation and Management MSc at Brunel University to further develop 2SB's competence to deliver effective and professional advice in this demanding area.
Relevant training/professional memberships: With over four years of experience of working with management system implementations across a wide range of businesses and industries Lucy has during this time achieved qualifications in the following areas: NEBOSH National General Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, QMS Lead Auditor qualification, EMS Auditor Conversion qualification and she is also an IRCA approved internal auditor. Recently she became a qualified ISO 27001 Lead Implementer with the BSI and has attended ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Internal Auditor training. Lucy is currently working towards achieving chartered status with environmental group IEMA.
Fun facts: Lucy likes to play badminton with her local club and has set up and captains the first ladies team in 10 years playing in a local league.
Jon Passmore – ISO Management Systems Consultant

Industries: Construction/Engineering, Design and Manufacturing, Technology
Having been involved at management level in his previous roles, Jon has a strong emphasis on tailoring processes to achieve business efficiency with a customer focus. Working with 2SB has allowed him to apply this experience across a range of organisations. Jon particularly enjoys working on implementations that involve all levels of an organisation to deliver valuable ISO systems.
Previous experience: Jon graduated from Bristol University with a First-Class Degree in Civil Engineering and during his holidays worked for Skanska. Before joining 2SB, Jon was the General Manager of a high-profile London restaurant, Ottolenghi in Islington where he developed his people management and leadership skills.
Relevant training: Jon has achieved qualifications as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and done an EMS Transition training course.
Fun facts: When not at work, his focus is firmly on natural wine. With a Diploma in Wine he uses his time off to make wine with winemakers across Europe and to teach short courses in wine studies. He has produced an English Sparkling Wine which through his rose-tinted glasses is equal to Champagne!
Eric Gardener – FSC & PEFC Chain of Custody Consultant
Eric began his career in the printing industry in the traditional time honoured way – pushing a broom and brewing tea for the journeyman printers at Battley Brothers Printers in Clapham, London.
Following completion of a 5 year course at the London College of Printing in print administration and manufacturing he gained experience in a wide range of commercial and production management roles including sales and marketing.
Eric has over the years developed a deep knowledge of the way internal business processes work to meet both the needs of the business and the clients which they serve. Eric is able to both quickly relate to the each individual member of staff as well as understand their role within the business which is critical in achieving a successful Chain of Custody implementation.
Since joining 2SB in 2009 Eric has helped broaden the companies target marketplace undertaking projects implementing single and multi-site FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody schemes working with clients to achieve certification, independently audited by accredited certification bodies of their choice.
Eric works energetically to keep up to date with the ever changing requirements of Chain of Custody and is now well known for his thoughtful and considered advice in helping fit the requirements of the "system to the customer" rather than the "customer to the system."
Recent clients include timber merchants, sawmills, bespoke joinery and carpentry/furniture manufacturers as well as printers and paper merchants.
Florence Pillman - Intern
Florence has joined as an intern from June to August 2017 with a view to understanding how ISO systems work as well as providing additional marketing support.
