Chris has always had a methodical system based mind and enjoys the interaction with clients across different industries getting to really know them and their businesses. After gaining experience as a manager of AlphaGraphics, a Central London “Quick Printer”, Chris joined Patersons and moved in to the role of Human Resources and Quality Director, managing both the demands of rapid expansion and then managed contraction. In 2006 Chris decided to set up 2SB Management Systems to apply his knowledge, experience and training and has been enthusiastically helping organisations ever since. Chris has supported over 80 businesses with the implementation of UKAS accredited 9001, 14001, 27001 and 45001 Management Systems as well as growing 2SB.
After joining the Royal Navy Chris was selected to study Systems and Management at The City University in London. He then spent six years at sea which included enforcing the Common Fisheries Policy around the coasts of the UK and as a warship navigating officer operating in and around "The Gulf".
Chris is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), an Associate member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and has a level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Fun facts: Chris is an experienced yachtsman and after sharing a 34ft yacht with his father for 15 years both cruising and racing he now shares a slightly smaller yacht with his daughter on the Medway. With his wife Jan they also run a bed and breakfast and he has been known to impersonate Basil Fawlty.
