The World can dance on FSC® floors

Harlequin Floors, the world leader in advanced technology floors for the performing arts, has recently achieved FSC® Chain-of-custody certification allowing them to use the highly respected Forest Stewardship Council ® “check tree” logo on flooring which they have made from FSC certified timber.

Baldwin Dias, the Global Operations Director comments:

“We are increasingly being asked whether the timber we use comes from responsibly managed sources and having FSC Chain of Custody will provide the confidence our clients need and for an operation like ours, working across the Globe this has been a significant undertaking.

My thanks go to Eric of 2SB for helping me get the FSC Certification in what must have been a record time, considering all the barriers that Covid brought with it.”

Chris Passmore of 2SB adds:

“This is a great achievement and we are delighted to make it possible for Harlequin’s customers not only to have a superb quality floor but also the confidence that it has been made from responsibly sourced timber.”

The Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC) is an international non-profit, multi-stakeholder organisation established in 1993 that promotes responsible management of the world's forests. The FSC Chain of Custody System ensures that the FSC-certified wood used by Harlequin has been responsibly sourced and helps take care of the forests for future generations.
