Hughes Pumps, the high and ultra-high pressure pump manufacturer, has just successfully completed another ISO 9001:2015 audit of their comprehensive in-house manufacturing site in West Sussex.
Phil Cranford, Hughes Pumps Managing Director, comments:
“We have had ISO 9001 since 2004 and for much of the time saw it as a necessary requirement for tendering, rather than adding any value to the business.
It was only when we engaged Chris Passmore of 2SB Management Systems in 2020 that we started to better integrate the ISO requirements into our daily systems and ISO is now playing an important role in our manufacturing performance.
We also find the annual external audits by Hugh Dempsey of the UKAS accredited Certification Body ALCUMUS ISOQAR an effective way of getting a professional engineers review of our systems and always find his visits worthwhile.”
