Sash Windows Conservation - ISO 9001

 

Sash Windows Conservation was formed in 2001 as a window refurbishing company specialising in traditional wooden windows. Since then they have moved from strength to strength, expanding and diversifying the business into the commercial market in central London. They now provide refurbishing to new services, acoustic windows and Anti-Attack and bulletproof windows. 

In 2017, Sash Windows Conservation decided it was essential to be certified to a UKAS accredited ISO 9001 Quality Management System in order to ultimately achieve inclusion in the BRE Red Book.

Porchlight - ISO 9001, 14001 & 27001

Porchlight are a charity supporting homeless, vulnerable and isolated people in Kent and the South East.

In order to satisfy the criteria of many of their tenders and show that Porchlight were committed to giving reliable charity services, it was decided by the Business Development team that ISO standards were needed.

University of Kent Design & Print Department - ISO 9001                             

For the University of Kent’s Design and Print Department, ISO 9001 implementation was the catalyst needed to drive necessary quality improvements forward. Arthur Lewis joined as Centre Manager in 2013 knowing that there existed some operational challenges within the department and that its reputation among the wider University was not as good as it needed to be. Arthur contacted Chris and Lucy of 2SB and in just four months they had passed their Stage 2 certification audit for quality management.

Pelican Fabrications FSC Chain of Custody

Pelican Fabrications gained FSC Chain of Custody certification with 2SB in June 2013. Pelican provides joinery, retail fixture and shop-fitting services and came under pressure from a major client to become FSC certified, or else lose their contract. It took just 5, half-day visits from 2SB’s Chain of Custody Specialist to ensure they were compliant with the standard.

DCS London Ltd ISO 14001

DCS London Ltd provides digital printing and typesetting services to clients across many sectors. Due to their previous consultants’ failure to provide a robust EMS that would continue to meet standard requirements, DCS lost their ISO 14001 certification status. Looking to rectify this, DCS approached 2SB.

Obart Pumps – ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001

2SB worked alongside Obart Pumps to implement a triple standard management system. Motivation for the system was two-fold. The Managing Director wanted certification to officially confirm that Obart was a well-run business capable of working with any organisation. Pressure then also started to mount from their suppliers and customers. Over the course of 8 months 2SB worked to provide Obart Pumps with all the necessary resources required by the business and have left Obart with a truly integrated management system.
