Lantum achieves UKAS accredited ISO 27001 certification

As a software provider to the NHS, data protection and information security are particularly important to Lantum. “ISO 27001 certification is a way to demonstrate that your company has invested in the people, processes, and technology to protect your organisation’s data. It’s comprehensive in nature, laying out the basic building blocks for an information security management system,” says 2SB’s Jon Passmore. “2SB’s approach is to be comprehensive yet tailor every solution the organisation we’re working with,” he adds.

Lantum had good documentation and controls in place, so the focus of the ISO 27001 implementation was bringing this together in Confluence to allow it to be centrally managed in an effective way. Achieving UKAS accredited ISO 27001 certification with support from 2SB has helped them to address both client requirements and the business need to protect the data with which they are entrusted.
