2SB supports Two Sides
Whilst the excessive and wasteful use of paper and board is wrong, too often businesses claim for environmental reasons to be going "paperless", overlooking the highly effective role paper and board can provide to businesses and society.
Two Sides, is a not-for-profit global initiative promoting the unique sustainable and attractive attributes of print, paper and paper packaging.
Many of 2SB's clients use paper and board as their principle raw material, through helping them implement FSC(r) Chain-of-Custody Certification and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management).
By being a member of Two Sides we are supporting an intiative which demonstrates that paper can outperform modern digital media in a number of significant areas:
- Consumers prefer to read the printed version of books.
- Consumers believe they gain a deeper understanding of news stories when reading from print media.
- Using paper and board is does not contribute the growing ICT carbon footprint or the rapidly growing amount of e-waste.
